Cold brew

Cold brew is a cold-brewed coffee. Unlike other methods, extraction takes place not under the influence of high temperature, but by infusion. The drink turns out to be very dense, fruity, with moderate acidity. On the basis of cold brew, it is easy to prepare refreshing coffee cocktails, lemonades and even milk drinks.


Brewing recipe:

  • grinding: medium-large;

  • the ratio of 100 g of coffee/ 1 liter of cold water + 1000 g of ice;

  • brewing time: 8-10 h;

  • in a container, preferably glass, put ice, ground coffee, pour everything with water, mix and close tightly. Put in a cool, dark place for 8-10 hours;

  • when the coffee is infused filter the drink through a paper filter or several layers of ordinary gauze;

  • the finished drink turns out to be quite concentrated, it can be diluted with water, soda, various fresh drinks or drunk with ice.
